A solidly entertaining popcorn movie.. His intelligence may be artificial, but his heroism is anything but superficial.. WALL-E is yet another notch in Pixar's computer-animation belt, and it's one of the better entries, with greater emotional resonance than anything they've done since Finding Nemo.. The best American film of the year to date.. . . You'd have to be a machine for your heart not to melt.. The greatest of all films by Pixar Animation, the little Disney studio with the Midas touch.....
